About Katrina

Hi families! My name is Katrina, I'm 25 years old and I've dedicated the past seven years to nurturing the growth and development of children. My passion for childcare stems from my positive experiences in previous babysitting roles, working in daycares, and now in a school as an assistant teacher, where I discovered my ability to make a positive impact on children's lives. I have my associates degree in adolescent education and will be continuing my college journey in the fall to obtain my teaching degree. Patient, calm, creative, and friendly, I believe in fostering a nurturing environment where children feel safe to explore and learn. Communication with parents is important to me and I follow their preferred method to discuss their child's day or any concerns that arise. I enjoy doing crafts, playing outside, reading and creating safe and fun age appropriate activities that promote learning. In addition to my available hours posted, I'm also available during school breaks!
