My name is Katrina and I am a mom to two boys, wife to a husband is law enforcement, certified English and reading teacher in the state of Texas and autism/adhd advocate. I worked in organizational communication and education for 5 years before staying home for 8 years to raise babies and host foreign exchange students from all over Asia. Most recently, I've taught 7th grade English language arts and reading to advanced and children with disabilities at a title one school. While I worked in healthcare education and loved it, it wasn't until I had my son that is autistic that I found my passion for early literacy in children. I believe if you can learn to read and write, you can learn anything!
