I'd describe my personality as cheerful, enthusiastic, and adaptable. I'm looking for a job that allows me to foster a positive, healthy and cheerful environment that allows people to be their full, unashamed selves. A completely judgement free zone. I worked in Holland for 2 years. I was a Sidekick/Caregiver there. There I learned the ins and outs of carrying for, and living life alongside adults with disabilities. When I can, I practice doing with, not for. That entails teaching and practicing daily life and hygiene skills with the people I'm caring for. When I can, I include my clients in their own daily life tasks to help grow independence and confidence. In my spare time, I like to camp, hike, paint and read. I love anything creative and will love planning creative activities for all ages. I love to learn and I love being outside. I also really enjoy helping foster others love for the outdoors.
