Kat is a wonderful person with fantastic qualities as an educator and caretaker, and is completely reliable, trustworthy, loving, and engaged. Kat provided full-time care for our son (starting at 8 months old) for five months as a nanny, and part-time care for another nine months after he transitioned to daycare (pre-planned). On a personal level, you will find that Kat has a genuine and infectious love for children. On a professional level, Kat is engaged, self-starting, and very responsible. She is someone who truly values education in all forms and experiences. Kat enjoyed reading to our son, taking him on trips to the library, and spending as much time having adventures outdoors with him as possible. On her own initiative, Kat identified local fairs, music classes, and community events to introduce to our son. She was always on-time, communicative, and flexible. She provided detailed feedback, and could be counted upon to come through in last-minute, above-the-call-of-duty situations. She is sorely missed, and had she not moved to Colorado, we would have retained her again as a full-time nanny following the birth of our daughter.
