About Katie

I am an east-coast native who loves being around people and exploring the beautiful things this area has to offer. I am highly motivated and compassionate, have a keen eye for detail, great at multitasking and going with the flow of life, and am a sculptor by trade. I have my master's degree and have worked in a range of capacities, internationally, for over 10 years. I have worked with many families as a nanny as well as individuals as a companion over the years, and have additional experience as a project manager, restorer, and fabricator in the arts. I have cared for children as young as 1-month-old up to preteens and am comfortable at all levels. I am happy to help with homework, go for walks, play games and sports, do science projects/experiments, art projects, explore, and discover things. I am also happy to cook and help with household chores like dishes, laundry, vacuuming, etc. I am more than happy to provide references upon request.
