About Katie
Hello! :)) I am new to Hattiesburg but always visited the city. Absolutely in love with this place, and decided southern miss university was right for me. I am originally from Brookhaven and attended Copiah-Lincoln Community College. After Copiah I went to Southwest Mississippi community college nursing school. I attended and passed three semesters of nursing school and found it wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I now just got accepted into the elementary education program at Southern Miss university. I will be taking on 3 online summer classes this summer. Only one of them will require a few in person hours. I start being a full time student this fall. All in all, I would love more experience with taking care of kids and teaching not only educational thoughts but also daily life circumstances that occur. Thanks for reading!
