About Katie

Hello! My name is Katie. I am 23 years old living in Green Lake with my cat Beverly. Coming from a blended family of teachers, I am 9 years older than my oldest (younger) sibling. I grew up caring for three younger siblings, spending a lot of time in classrooms on the teaching side. I have taken child development classes, interned in classrooms on my own, spent years volunteering in the daycare at the church I grew up going to, and began providing childcare at the age of 11 for neighbors, family friends, and eventually families I was connected to through babysitting! My first job was an after school nanny my last year of high-school. I have cared for a vast array of ages, from 5 months old to 15 years of age. I currently am working in a pediatric dentist office as a dental assistant and am in the process of getting my Bachelors in elementary education.
