About Katie

I love working with kids and can't wait to help your family thrive! I'm Katie - originally from Chicago (never moving back to the cold), Mother to a 3 yr old (50/50 custody split) and Attorney taking a break from the law for a while. I gave birth in Nov 2020 and am so happy to be a mom. I've always known that I wanted to be a parent, as I've been working with kids and babysitting in some capacity since I was about 13-14. I have experience with kids of all ages (newborns to teenagers) and am comfortable caring for up to three kids at a time. I love being outside, going to parks, exploring the nature in our own backyards and in our neighborhoods, going to the beach and enjoying the great SD weather. I've got my own zoo membership so I'm happy to take your little ones to see all the animals too! I'm also a former lifeguard so comfortable taking your little ones swimming when it's warm enough. Right now I'm generally available during the daytime and occasionally at night.
