I am currently an assistant at a local Special Ed school for students moderate to severe intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities. I also have in-home PCA experience. In my free-time I am completing my degree studying Communication Science and Disability Studies. I have experience with ages 5-22 with a variety of support needs. I am proficient in high and low-tech AAC, mobility support, and navigating assistive technology and equipment (wheelchairs, power chairs, standers, gait trainers). I use a gentle, positive, trauma-informed approach to behavioral management and social-emotional development with DIR Floortime influence.
