Hi, I'm Katie, and I absolutely adore spending time with children. I am a former educator with three years of teaching experience. I have experience in Kindergarten and 5th grade as well as 6th and 7th grade. I hold a Louisiana Level 1 teaching certification and am CPR certified. Additionally, I possess certifications in food safety hazards and choking prevention. I have Wilson Phonics and UFLI early literacy training as well. Currently, am in LSU's ABSN program I'm deeply passionate about education and childcare. Prior to my professional experience as an educator I worked in childcare as a daycare assistant and have previously been a long term tutor. During covid I worked with one family to do partial day homeschooling. I also have experience working at summer camps and Sunday school. Excited to meet you!
