Experience: 10 yrs
Recreational therapist with over 11 years experience working with children with special needs. My career background is 8 years in an inpatient, high intensity hospital setting primarily in pediatrics with medically fragile children and now see private clients full time. I specialize in children with developmental delay as well as children with physical injuries. I have experience working with elderly population as well and work part time as a contractor in nursing homes around south Florida. I was a Guardian ad litem for children in the foster care system for 5 years. I am originally from North Carolina but I've been in south Florida for 11 years. I love children, and animals of all kinds, and am open to more jobs as needed.

Katie is professional, kind and dependable. She loves working with children and it really shows! She is great with our 3 month old son, takes him for walks, plays with him and cares for him as if he was her own! We love working with her and are so lucky to have found her!
