I am currently caring for a wonderful 80-year-old gentleman with M. S. He is diabetic and wheelchair bound. I am experienced with lifting in a Hoyer, changing and cleaning his colostomy bag and supra-pubic catheter, showers, dispensing medications, laundry, house cleaning and meals. I run errands and do personal shopping when needed. I, also, currently care for a warm and kind couple. I cook meals, light housekeeping, laundry, administer medications, showers and grooming, transfers and ambulation. I had a short term position caring for an incredible woman with M. S. and was paralyzed from the neck down. I cooked for her lovely family of 5, cat and dog, hand fed her, distributed medications and got her ready for bed. I loved working for her. We laughed a lot. Unfortunately, she needed multiple manual transfers to the toilet/bed. I felt unsafe to continue. I really enjoy caregiving. I look forward to work everyday. I enjoy making someone's life a little easier and more pleasant.

My family can wholeheartedly recommend Katie as a caregiver. Even though Katie only worked for my parents for 3 months, she instantly became a family member. Always punctual and professional, Katie was ready to help in any way asked of her. She was a great communicator, keeping us posted and updated by text. She offered suggestions for improved care, took my parents to their appointments, bathed them, did meal prep, did laundry, housekeeping and pet care. She also organized and gave my parents their many medications. When it came time to move my parents into a residential care home, Katie started packing them, helping us greatly. As is obvious, we loved Katie and our only regret is our short time with her!
