About Katie

A little bit about me... I've been working in childcare for 5+ years, CPR/First aid certified. and have worked with various different schools with nursery, Montessori, and Reggio led philosophy. I have cared for children ages 6 months-6 years, and am comfortable with all ages. I studied Musical Theatre in university and am skilled with music education. I work hard to create daily activities and create a strong routine. I'm excited to meet you! I like working with kids because children have so much to teach us and are often underestimated. I like to challenge that and advocate for independence and exploring new things! I'm looking for a job that has relatively regular hours with a kind communicative family. In my spare time, I like to paint, watch films, shop vintage, and take my cat Freya on walks in her stroller. I bring a positive attitude everyday and am a firm believer that a calm kind energy and environment creates a space for growth, exploration, and fun!
