About Katie

Hi there I'm Katie! As a child care provider for multiple families with 5 years of experience in the areas of mentoring, tutoring and athletics, I have skills that allow me to be a competitive applicant for the nanny position. I have provided care to children and youth ranging in ages from 1 to 17. From my employment and experience, I have developed several skills such as communication, problem solving, active listening, and academic skills. I graduated from San Diego State in May of 2021. During my internship, I worked at a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping underserved youth excel in life by promoting character development and life skills through education. I monitored behavior issues, supported students in their academic goals and developed STEM enrichment workshops that inspired confidence and creativity. I am passionate about helping youth reach their full potential and am excited about the opportunity to provide care and mentoring to your child.
