Hi there! My name is Katie, and I provide part time caregiver services for people who also have special needs. Although I do not have a degree certified working with people with disabilities, I do have years of experiences. My uncle had special needs his entire life, with a range of disabilities. I spent a lot of time watching my mother care for him and caring for him myself over the past 10+ years of my life. I also have experience caring for a teen boy with special needs including apraxia. I have spent volunteer time working with children with special needs as well. I have a tender heart, with an abundance of patience and an encouraging attitude.
