It is our great pleasure to offer the highest possible recommendation for Katie as nanny and babysitter. Our youngest son was in Katie s care for approximately 7 months while she was the lead teacher in his preschool class. Katie also occasionally babysits our two boys (4 and 2 years old). We completely trust her with the care of our boys. Katie is fantastic at what she loves doing, taking care of children, especially toddlers and preschoolers! She is firm but loving, creative, responsible and very patient. She has tons of fun with our boys while (amazingly) keeping their behaviors in line with what is expected of them. Katie is warm and approachable. We always felt very comfortable asking her for advice with regards to our youngest son's care, behavioral issues, potty training, keeping him entertained at home or any other concerns we may have had while he was in her class at preschool. Our son grew very attached to Katie while he was in her care and it was a challenge for him to move on to the next class. However she fostered his self-confidence and curiosity during his time with her and within a short while he was comfortable in his new class with the age-appropriate social, emotional and educational skills to be a happy toddler in his new surroundings. We wholeheartedly recommend Katie for any childcare position she may apply for and would be happy to talk to anyone who is interested in hiring her.
