About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie and I am already excited to meet you. I spent four years as a camp counselor for ages 6-18, have worked multiple child care jobs with ages infant-12, have served as a childcare volunteer at my church for years working with infants and toddlers, and am an aunt to seven nieces and nephews. I have my bachelor's degree in psychology and have worked full time in the care for adults with special needs. I am looking for a position with 25-32 hours per week as I return to school to get my Master's Degree in mental health counseling. I'm CPR trained, have my own vehicle, and have education in child development. My personality is relaxed and playful, but I am aware of when to be firm and hold true to family standards. I am happy to be around pets too. In my free time, I like hiking, collecting houseplants, reading, and journaling.
