Hi there! I'm a second grade teacher taking some time at home with my own child (18months). I have nannied for several families with kids ranging from ages 0-10. Most recently, I was able to work with another family who had a child close in age to mine, caring for them in my home. I was able to plan developmentally appropriate activities for our children to do together, and they both got to socialize without being exposed to quite as many kids as a daycare setting (yay, less illness!) This worked great for our families, and I would love to find a situation like this again! I believe children learn best when they are free to explore, make messes, and take the lead. We do lots of outside time (rain or shine) and I love to tailor my learning activities to children's interests! Please send me a message if it sounds like we could be a good fit.
