About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie, and I'm currently a student at Quinnipiac University, pursuing social work. I have a strong passion for working with children and have a wealth of experience in childcare. Last year, I worked at A Child's Place preschool in Westport, where I had the opportunity to interact with kids of various ages and develop skills in managing different personalities and needs. I also spent this past summer working there before heading off to college. In addition to my preschool experience, I have been a nanny for several families, where I took care of children ranging from infants to school-age. I'm confident in my ability to create a safe, fun, and positive environment providing them with engaging activities. Whether it's playtime, helping with homework, or preparing meals, I'm always attentive and focused on providing great help. Some of my personal hobbies include cooking, music, theater, and more! I have my drivers license, and am CPR certified!
