I have worked with kids with special needs for 4 years. I most recently worked for a family with a little girl who has a feeding tube and developmental delays. The job was so rewarding and fun. One family I nannied for has a child with Down Syndrome whom I adore. He is so fun and funny and the best kid to play hide and seek with. Another family I worked for and even taught for a little bit has a child with Spina Bifida, he considers me his best friend and I consider him mine. He'll be the ring bearer in my upcoming wedding in May! For a couple years I worked for a family who's child was recently diagnosed with anger management. The progress he made over the two years I was with them was exponential and I've never been more proud of a child. I'm so passionate about what I do because it is so rewarding. I love watching the kids minds expand everyday.
