Hello! My name is Kit and I have over 16 years of childcare experience involving taking care of children at various ages from infants to preteens. I am a graduate of St. Mary's University where I received my B. A. in theater. I've worked as a nanny, daycare teacher, paraprofessional, music teacher, and I've loved all of it! I also have experience working with families with more than one child anywhere from 2 to 5 kids. Responsibilities I have taken on as a nanny include helping with homework, cooking, mild cleaning, taking care of pets, music time, outdoor activities, getting them ready for bedtime, overnight care, and assisting with vacations. Katie is my niece and babysat for my son since she was eleven years old. Katie is very dependable and interacted with my son by playing a variety of indoor games and outdoor activities as well. She would take my son to our neighborhood park, go for walks, ride bikes or simply play in our backyard. Katie is very patient with my son as he is on the Autistic Spectrum (high functioning) and he likes to talk a lot and very inquisitive. Katie is very capable of making meals and always followed my instructions and schedule. If you are seeking a child care provider who is caring, friendly, energetic, dependable, responsible and very interactive with children, it is without reservation that I would highly recommend Katie Kelsey.
