About Katie

As a childcare provider with three years of paid experience and 12 years as a mother, I'm passionate about fostering children's growth and development. My patient and friendly nature, coupled with my creativity and imagination, allows me to connect with children of all ages. I welcome open and honest communication with parents, using their preferred method, to discuss their child's day and any issues that arise. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the children in my care. From outdoor sports to board games and educational activities, I enjoy a variety of games that promote physical, social, and intellectual development. I'm comfortable caring for up to 10 children, ranging from infants to preteens. I am open to assisting in virtual school as well with having 7 years as a "learning coach". I'm happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision.
