About Katie

Hi! I go by Kae. I'm a 25 y/o creative with a passion for art and childcare. As an after school teacher at Chicago Public Schools, I have 2 years prof. experience working with children (K-5) both in large groups and one-on-one. Working with kids has always been something I've enjoyed immensely and is something I'm deeply passionate about. I believe working with children and helping to support and guide young minds is one of the most important things one can do. I am currently looking for full-time and/or part-time nanny and babysitting positions. I have a deep love and appreciation for art, writing, dance, and all other forms of creativity. I can provide homework help (esp. in regards to writing, reading, English, spelling, etc.), light housekeeping, meal prep, and will also advocate and encourage creative outlets for kids. I love nature and pets, and can speak Korean at an adv level. I have a degree in English and am currently pursuing an MFA in English as well.
