About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie. One of the most important things about me is the way I interact with children comes from my love for my own boys (5 years old and almost 3), my love and respect for my husband of almost five years, and my relationship with Jesus. I work very hard to integrate my beliefs into everything that I do in the sense that I treat children, no matter how young, with respect and kindness. I've always loved working with kids of all ages - I have experience with newborns all the way until seniors in high school. During high school and college, I worked at various day cares and Adventures Plus (a before and after school daycare program for school-aged students). I am currently a Family and Consumer Science teacher at our local high school I am looking for a part-time summer job I can bring my boys to. They are very well behaved and love to have fun with other kids. This is a non-negotiable. :) I have a nice car I can haul a few kids around and we love to do things outdoors!
