About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie , I'm 25 years old, and I've been caring for children since I was 15. I have a strong background in both childcare and education-while in college, I worked as a curriculum coordinator and robotics instructor at the House Community Center in Pittsburgh, where I led fun, hands-on learning experiences for kids of all ages. I also was on R spending most weekends watching pets for families. I hold degrees in Nursing and Biomedical Engineering, and currently work at the VA Hospital. I'm looking to fill some of my free time with part-time babysitting and would love the opportunity to support local families while earning a little extra income. I bring a calm, creative, and responsible energy to every home I work in.
