About Katie

I'm a second year law student at Boston College, and I graduated with Latin honors from Smith College. In high school, I received an International Baccalaureate diploma with the highest marks in my class. Despite all that, I am someone who sought college counseling/ACT prep and eventually LSAT prep. I also once got a C in IB Biology, and then graduated with the highest scores. I know that aptitude and test-taking abilities are not inherently linked, and that not every subject comes naturally to every student. I approach studying and developing the right skills with zero judgment for myself and my fellow students, and promise to help develop that same grace-for-oneself that keeps students lifelong learners. I am a professional writer by trade (prior to law school my job was to write on behalf of high profile individuals) - I'm also happy to help students write their college essays or other writing assignments, in addition to developing writing and reading comprehension skills.
