About Katie

I have always enjoyed caring for children. From babysitting to volunteering, I have worked with all ages, from newborns to teenagers. One of my favorite aspects of child care is watching a child grow and learn new things. I believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment in which to thrive. My formal education includes some college, but my real training has come from my years of experience and the CPR and First Aid certifications I've earned. I am a calm, patient, and reliable individual who is comfortable caring for up to four children at a time. I am happy to help with swimming supervision, and I am comfortable with pets. I enjoy playing technology-based games and apps with children, and I believe that these activities can be both educational and fun. I also believe that it is important to enforce household rules in a consistent and fair manner. I prefer to follow the parents' preferred communication method to discuss a child's day or any issues that arise.
