About Katie

I was an elementary school teacher for 10 years in Andover, MA. I have taught kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 4th grade. I have also been tutoring students privately for 10 years. I have tutored students from 2nd grade - 7th grade in a wide variety of subjects, including math, reading comprehension, writing skills, homework help, study skills, organization, and executive functioning. I am comfortable tutoring students from kindergarten through 8th grade. I will work with your child's teacher(s) if needed. I will create an individualized plan tailored just for your child. I will provide you, the parents, with consistent feedback. I am very knowledgeable, responsible, creative, and warm. Our tutoring sessions will be productive and fun at the same time. I will be happy to meet your child free of charge for our first visit to see if we would be a good fit. My schedule is flexible; after-school, evening, and weekend hours are available.
