About Katie

Hello! My name is Katie and i'm currently a sophomore at SDSU studying Early Childhood Education. With four years of childcare experience under my belt, I currently work at the Fishback School of Education, where I contribute to the after-school kindergarten program. This role has provided me with invaluable hands-on experience and allowed me to apply my academic knowledge in creating enriching learning environments for children. My approach to childcare is rooted in the belief that every child is unique and deserving of personalized care and attention. I prioritize creating safe, supportive, and fun spaces where children can explore, learn, and grow. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy playing pickleball and spending quality time with friends and family. I am also CPR/first aid certified.
