For seven years I worked for an amazing non profit organization called opportunity village in clear lake Iowa. I received priceless training, certification and experience working with the most wonderful dependent adults. I have experience working with a large amount of varying disabilities and care levels. Also certified as a medication aide during those years. When we decided to grow our family I chose to stay home to raise our four kiddos. They're now all in school and the previous two years I worked at their elementary school as a para educator. One year subbing in a variety of roles and one school year working in special education which is where my heart lies.
