About Katie

I First started babysitting when I was about 12 years old. I figured out a very young age that I had a passion for children. This all came about because I was the eldest sibling of four children. I remember helping my mother with anything that my brother or sister needed. When I was12 years old, we had a neighbor that asked my mother if I could watch her kids for a couple of hours while she worked. This is where my passion was born. I always thought I would own a daycare one day; however, life took me in another direction. I was still caring for people through becoming a Medical Assistant. For the last 10 years I have worked within doctor offices, caring for patients and providing the doctors with everything they need to ensure that our patients are taken care of to the best of my ability. During this time, I have still been working with children within my church. I used to be the assistant youth pastor, until recently I started working fully with children's church. -Brooke
