About Katie

Experience as a home health aide/CNA, a direct care support professional caring for adults with developmental and physical disabilities. I was a social worker for 10 years before staying home with my child. Now that my son is in elementary school, I have a strong pull to get back into the helping profession. I have experience with Hoyer lifts, mobility aides, diabetes and medication management, and special diets. Personal care, such as bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, toileting needs etc. I am able to do light housekeeping, run errands, and prepare meals. I am not looking for full time hours. I am available for consistent part time, as needed, vacation/respite and special event coverage etc. I know from personal experience what it is like to welcome a care giver into your home to care for a loved one. You want that person to be trustworthy, respectful and dependable.
