About Katie

Hoping to connect with parents who could use a trustworthy pair of hands for a part-time position or to fill in for date nights and other as-needed events. My nannying career has allowed me to work with some incredible families and kiddos - with ages ranging from birth to late elementary. I began nannying full-time in 2012 after a few years babysitting. I also spent a few years teaching2-year-olds in a small and wonderful preschool program, both as an assistant and then as a lead teacher (and in following years as an as-needed sub), but found myself back in the nannying world after until I finished my master's degree and started working full-time as a counselor. My jobs have ranged from after-school support to full week infant care, from date nights to long weekends while parents travel. My personal sweet spot is with infants and young toddlers; I think those ages are where my skills shine brightest and my empathetic, patient nature and expertise offer the greatest benefits.
