I love working in child care because I want to help both the kids and parents live their healthiest and most balanced lives. I come from a family oriented but busy home and I know the struggle of life/work/anything else getting in the way and becoming stressful! I am here to help! I began working with children in middle school when I would take a bus to the elementary school and help K-5 students grow their reading skills. From there I began working with special education students in high school and led a peer to peer program that helped young girls navigate all that comes with growing up! I spent the summer nannying for a wonderful young family in Evanston, caring for a 9-month-old. I will miss them dearly but the parents have employment changes that no longer require childcare. I have a degree in film production and creative writing and would someday love to find full time work in that field but until then I am fulfilled by taking care of children!
