About Katia

Hi there! My name is Katia and I've been caring for children, from infants to elementary schoolers, the past for four years. I am very energetic, patient, responsible, and loyal. I strive to build a long-term relationship with families and foster a fun, friendly, impactful bond with children. I believe that a nanny or babysitter is an enormously important role in a child's life, and therefore I want nothing more than to provide children with all the tools they need to grow and learn. I also have three years of tutoring experience in all subjects and grade levels! My passion and experience with childcare comes from the daycare my mother and I ran in our home for the past five years. I worked in the daycare full time for the last few years, before moving out on my own. I have many years of experience working with multiple children at a time and I truly enjoy interacting with them, creating new, fun hands-on activities for us to do, and teaching them new things in any way I can!
