About Kathy

I'd describe my personality as engaging, warm, and optimistic. I like tutoring because working with children is something I've done for over 30 years. It's something I am comfortable with and enjoy doing. Helping kids to teach their full potential, and helping them develop skills and master concepts, is such a rewarding and fun endeavor. I'm looking for a job that is both financially and personally rewarding. I want a job that challenges me, and is also flexible. I started tutoring when I started teaching 30 years ago. Tutoring is a natural part of teaching. In my spare time, I like to spend time with both of my adult daughters, go on adventures with my Siberian Husky, hang out with my friends, read books, ride my bike, and explore new places. One thing you should know about me is I'm quite good at building relationships with my students. My skills include organization, punctuality, and intelligence.
