I started caring for seniors when my 88-year-old friend could no longer live on his own due to confusion and could no longer drive. I assisted with bathing, laundry, meal preparation and travel to doctor. Most recently I cared for an 89-year-old woman with dementia. My skills included assisting with showering, preparing meals, companionship and keeping an upbeat attitude. I also drove her to doctor appointments and took her to the gym where she enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
