About Kathy

My experience began 36 years ago when, at the age of 19, I started working with DeKalb Medical Center as a CNA in their Skilled Nursing Facility. I ended my employment with DeKalb Medical Center when I moved out of State. However, my passion for assisting others did not end. Therefore, I continued working in this field no matter where I lived. This has allowed me to gain knowledge and experience in working within Nursing Homes, hospitals, specialty centers (ie: psychiatric units, memory care centers, coma/brain injury units, etc.)and doctor's offices. One thing about this career that has kept me motivated is how appreciative people are, whether they are the patient or the patient's family. It has always been fulfilling to provide assistance/care to those in need. Sometimes the smallest tasks seemed to bring the biggest relief and gratitude from patients/clients. Helping people in times of need continues to bring me great joy.
