About Kathryn

Hello! My name is Kathryn and I am a middle school learning support specialist who is available for tutoring. As a professional educator, I strive to help students achieve their full potential. I have 10 years of experience in education as a whole and 7 years of experience as a classroom special education teacher and learning specialist. I am a certified special education teacher (K-12) in the state of Virginia and hold a Master's Degree from The University of Virginia in Special Education. I have an extensive background in supporting students with language based learning disabilities and supporting students with overall executive functioning. I bring energy, positivity, reliability and experience in one-on-one and small group education.
