About Kathryn

I am an Assistant Principal at a public elementary school and former Montessori and general education teacher. I have a passion for elementary education and a strong commitment to ensuring that all students are successful. I have an expertise for preparing students for elementary growth, particularly with the skills and tricks to be successful on high stakes exams. As a successful teacher and school administrator, I know what it takes for any child to become a strong learner. I begin with analysis of your data to provide a tailored approach and ensure our time together is beneficial to your learning. Once I know where your areas of opportunity are, I have the experience necessary to break down a concept and make it clear for students at any level. I'll model a concept, we'll practice together, and then you'll show me what you know through an independent practice. I provide interactive lessons that are sure to engage any learner.
