About Kathryn

Hello! I am a fun, playful sitter who has 10 years of experience babysitting, nannying, as well as working in both an in-home daycare and daycare/preschool facility. Families I've worked with in the past say they appreciate and enjoy my help because I play with and engage their children, rather than only supervise. I graduated from UMKC in May 2020 with Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Chemistry with a minor in Family Studies, and am working toward a career in public health and pediatric psychiatry. I hope to work with children all my life, so caring for kids and families is a real passion of mine! I have several years of experience tutoring elementary students, as well, including completing the A+ program, so helping with homework would be no problem! I also love animals and take care of pets and homes, and am comfortable working in homes with many children, animals, children of all ages, and children with special needs. It would be an honor to serve your family!
