I'm currently attending Eastern Michigan University pursuing a Bachelors in K-12 Music Education. I have eight years of experience caring for children from ages two to 13, both as an in-home nanny as well as in an accredited childcare facility. In my various positions I've assisted with tasks such as transportation, meal preparation/light cooking, laundry and household chores, grocery shopping, etc. Having grown up as the oldest of four children, I naturally have an "older sister/mom's helper" mentality that I've found serves especially well in this setting. I find it so fulfilling to spend my time making a busy family's daily life a little easier, and have loved the time I've spent becoming an extended family member in various households!

Katy has been the best nanny for our son! She started when he was 11 months and he is now almost 18 months. Katy is caring, creative, professional, and so easy to work with. Our son has learned so much from her, and she shows genuine interest in his care and development. Katy always has great ideas for activities and outings, and she goes above and beyond in her care. She has also been so patient with our anxious dog. We cannot recommend Katy enough!
