About Kathryn

Hi! I'm Kathryn - kids call me KP. An unexpected lay-off means I have some downtime and I'd love to do some kid care. My very first job was babysitting when I was 11. I worked my way through high school and college as a nanny, babysitter and camp counselor. Newborns! Friends call me the "baby whisperer" and many have asked me to be their new baby's first babysitter. I have spent more than a few hours in the NICU & I can handle very young & special needs babies. Kids! Arts & crafts, baking/cooking/dishes, dance parties, field trips, nature & outside time, etc. Two favorite tricks are pipe cleaners and the Ministry of Silly Walks. Nutrition and health are serious hobbies for me - I am a great home cook and a registered yoga teacher. Mostly, I love meeting humans of all ages and engaging on their level. I'm loving, compassionate, non-judgmental and fun. I'm also super no-nonsense and really great at boundaries and expectations. I'd love to meet your family!
