About Kathryn

My name is Kathryn and I have taught in preschool classrooms for 10 years. I am now an education consultant on Reggio Emilia pedagogy but still love spending time with the little ones! My specializations are in early literacy, arts integration, and yoga. I also have extensive training in the Reggio approach which is a child-centered learning approach that includes open-ended materials and work in nature. I'm happy to take the children out in all weather, to explore and have fun! I'm also a mom and understand the importance of following a schedule. I will always make sure to stay the course with your normal routine. I also have experience with infants, potty training, learning to read, special education, and have been a substitute teacher in elementary school. I have a current background check with the FBI that I'm happy to share.
