About Kathryn

For the past 12 years I have been taking care of children of all ages for a range of times for different families. Several of my jobs were for more than 2-4 years each. I often have worked concurrently with other families for shorter terms depending on their need. I enjoy getting to know a family and see how I can best help their specific child ( children) and their specific situation. It is important to me to know the vision and goals of the parent(s) so I can be well aligned with them. I am a mother with a grown son and daughter, as well as a grandmother of two boys. I was a preschool teacher many years ago, then worked in the corporate world for almost 18 years. I enjoy being with children and they have always been in my life. I have an educational background in Psychology . I value being able to contribute something to children that will help them now and in their future. I also value the fun and play they bring to my life.
