About Kathryn

My name is Katy, I am 23 years old, and I'm graduate student at Pratt in Brooklyn. Before moving to New York I lived in Massachusetts where I babysat in my neighborhood for 8 years and nannied for 5, watching children from ages 2 to 12. When babysitting I frequently had more than 6 kids to watch because all the kids in the neighborhood were friends, so they would walk over to play at any time. This might sound overwhelming, but I actually enjoyed it because I got to organize large games for everyone in order to make the impromptu playdate a success. I would also be responsible for cooking dinners, watching dogs and cats, and cleaning while sitting. Other experience I have with children is as a basketball camp counselor for 5 summers, where I would teach kids from all skill levels how to improve. I played basketball in undergrad at Wesleyan University and it is one of my passions so I love when I get the opportunity to teach young players. I look forward to your inquiry.
