For the past 7 years, I have had the opportunity to work as a caregiver, as well as live-in-aide to two young adults with special needs. I gained experience in helping the individuals with personal life goals, as well as helping them to accomplish daily living tasks. I aided them with cooking, cleaning, homework, personal hygiene, shopping, and transportation. Helping individuals with special needs is one of my passions in life! I have had very rewarding experiences, and have learned a lot in working with people with special needs. Along with my working experience, I have also had the joy of volunteering with two organizations that support people with special needs.

Kathryn and I volunteered together for 5 years. I have seen her closely work special needs individuals for a long time. We also became friends. Kathryn is one of the nicest, most genuine people I know. She was even one of the bridesmaids in my wedding. I deeply trust and respect Kathryn. I have no doubts that Kathryn will excel in any job setting.
