About Kathryn

I am passionate about being a caregiver. I enjoy the relationships and fulfillment that such a position encourages. I have more than 20 years of experience. I have worked as a full-time nanny for several area families. A recent family I worked for has three children, ages four, seven, and nine. My duties included pet care, overnight care, toilet training, carpooling, personal errands, doctor's visits, light housework and cooking, laundry, organizing, online learning, crafts and swimming supervision. I also have experience with long weekend stays. I have worked with children as young as 3 weeks old. I have worked for the Yadkin County School system as a special needs assistant in preschool, kindergarten, and fourth grade classrooms. I obtained a BFA in Psychology from Salem College, and have completed some course work towards a Masters in Teaching with a focus on Special Education. I have experience with adult care. I am single with no children, and I have reliable transportation.
