About Kathryn
I was a part of various tutoring programs in high school, was a peer teacher in my senior year of high school, and a student teacher for middle school students in college. I can help with most subjects, with particular skill in English/ writing and Science/ chemistry (through AP level). My style is to teach through thinking, meaning that I enhance critical thinking skills and engage that to help the student answer their own questions. This can be tailored to younger or older students. While I have never been a paid tutor/educator, I have taken college level education classes, and have wanted to be an educator my whole life.
