"Cheerfulness keeps up a kind of daylight in the mind, and fills it with a steady and perpetual serenity. " I am an avid reader. I love to write poetry, listen to music, and play piano and guitar. I taught all five of my children how to read. My oldest learned to read at the age of three and graduated from college with honors and a B. S. I do not have a teaching degree, but I homeschooled all of my children through eighth grade, and I used an online correspondence school for their high school. My expertise lies in patience, experience, and the ability to adapt my teaching to each individual's unique learning needs. If I don't feel that I can teach what you require, I will tell you and not waste your time and money. I'm looking forward to meeting you and helping your child learn!
